These are some of my favorite love poems perfect for Valentines Day.

Then I will explain why I’m not a happy person.

I really love these two poems and I think they truly encompass what love is.

Now because it is Valentines Day I must say that I’m not happy, at all.

Most of my friends talk about Valentines Day as an annoying and stupid holiday.

They think it’s ridiculous to only show your love for someone for one day. When you think about it that way, I am inclined to agree. If you love someone you should cherish it each and every day.

But, they make me sick. All but one of my friends (and she doesn’t count because it’s her birthday) have someone they love and that loves them back to share this holiday with. THEY TAKE IT FOR GRANTED AND IT PISSES ME OFF! They really do not understand how lucky they are to be loved and cared for enough to get roses, or to go out to dinner. I’ve never been on a date, I’ve never been told I’m beautiful, I’ve never even kissed someone just because I love them and they loved me too.

I won’t say it’s not fair, because I don’t determine what’s fair and what isn’t. However, it is wrong to sit there with your boyfriend or girlfriend and say “I hate Valentines Day” but then you go and celebrate it.

I would give my left arm to have someone care that much about me.

Just throwing that out there.

Hey Hey Hey

today is Feburary 12th 2009

only 4 months and one day untill i graduate woot woot

So today was pretty awesome not gonna lie

In first we talked about some truely amazing poems the first being living in sin:

Living in Sin

She had thought the studio would keep itself;
no dust upon the furniture of love.
Half heresy, to wish the taps less vocal,
the panes relieved of grime. A plate of pears,
a piano with a Persian shawl, a cat
stalking the picturesque amusing mouse
had risen at his urging.
Not that at five each separate stair would writhe
under the milkman’s tramp; that morning light
so coldly would delineate the scraps
of last night’s cheese and three sepulchral bottles;
that on the kitchen shelf among the saucers
a pair of beetle-eyes would fix her own—
envoy from some village in the moldings . . .
Meanwhile, he, with a yawn,
sounded a dozen notes upon the keyboard,
declared it out of tune, shrugged at the mirror,
rubbed at his beard, went out for cigarettes;
while she, jeered by the minor demons,
pulled back the sheets and made the bed and found
a towel to dust the table-top,
and let the coffee-pot boil over on the stove.
By evening she was back in love again,
though not so wholly but throughout the night
she woke sometimes to feel the daylight coming
like a relentless milkman up the stairs. yeah i know awesome right??? I really liked another one we read though… this one was yesterday. It’s called To the Virgins to make much of time TO THE VIRGINS, TO MAKE MUCH OF TIME.

Again amazing. I’m finding myself falling in love with poetry more and more everyday lol. Thanks Millie Adams!!!

Lets move on:

2nd was a drag… but fun cause mrs. fox is really funny.

3rd is my second favorite class of the day… simply because i get to

SING MY LUNGS OUT

I really love the songs we are singing… most of them anyway

except for Fences the music is really hard and Vannoy teaches it so it’s pretty much a bust!

Now on to fourth: my favorite class of the day… aka

AP BIOLOGY!

We started plants today… YAY… not

It was actually pretty interesting and after we got done with notes everyone had to finish questions assigned to us the previous day. Which was yesterday, for those who don’t get time…

ok moving on

I finished my questions YAY! so i moved on to some pretty sweet drawings of amoebae and things of that nature :/ kinda boring but my pictures are pretty lol.

After school I went to Lauren’s, as usual, and we just chilled. As I like to say, we were getting our “Carpe Dieum” on lol ok ok i’m sorry enough with the dorkiness.

This is an account of an actual conversation, This a lot less structured than that of what i usually write. However, It seemed like the best thing to put as my first poem. I hope you like

You are one and I another.

I panic

What’s your type?

I have no idea.

I really do know,

I know you better than what you would expect.

You need a girl, who will always listen to your ideas,

You need a woman, who will know exactly how to relax you,

You need someone who will call you just to say “Hey!”

Physically you need a woman, who you can protect,

Mentally you need a girl with a mind,

Who likes movies and music,

But who also likes books and science,

Emotionally you need someone who you can see yourself supporting

Through thick and thin.

But you don’t see that,

You see looks, and clothes;

You don’t see what you truly need,

And you don’t see me.

I panic,

What’s your type?

I throw it away as a casual joke

Blonde hair, Blue eyes, all American bombshell.

Silence

I upset you,

I’m sorry,

I never meant to put you down.

Shallow?

Maybe a little but not terribly so!

A quick “no, never” fixes that.

I do know you better than that!

Oh, what a mess I’ve made!

Change the subject-

Ask him your type,

Jokingly of course.

Silence again.

I read the words on the page,

Oh My God,

“??? Hold on a sec… k?”

How can you know that?

I like that spending the day talking

and here we are 4 hours later still finding things to ramble about.

most people call me rel though

ok so some things i have planned for this blog are:
